In short: CompleteFrontend is a free learning site. We collect only what we need to run it: your progress, if you sign in, and basic visit statistics. We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.
1. Who we are
CompleteFrontend (completefrontend.com) is run by Shrikanth PS. For any privacy question or request, email completefrontend@gmail.com, or use the Contact page.
2. What we collect
Without an account:
- Visit statistics: the pages you open, the page that sent you here, and campaign tags in the link (such as
utm_source). - Device details your browser reports: browser, operating system, device type and model, screen and window size, language, time zone, theme, and connection type.
- An approximate location (city, region, and country), looked up from your IP address when you visit. We don't store the IP address itself.
- Two first-party cookies with random IDs:
cf_vid, which tells visits from the same browser apart for up to 400 days, andcf_sid, which groups one visit and ends after 30 minutes without activity.
3. If you sign in with Google
We receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google, and save your learning progress to your account: lessons you opened and finished, quiz scores, practice problems you solved with the XP they earned, and the days you studied, which give your streak.
We never see or store your Google password.
4. Tuto, the AI tutor
When you ask Tuto a question, the question, the part of the page or code you asked about, and the last few messages of the chat are sent to Google's Gemini service to write the answer. We count how many questions you ask, to apply the free limit, but we don't store the questions or answers on our servers. Your recent chats are kept in your own browser.
5. Code you write
Code you run in the lessons, the code editor, and the playground runs in your own browser. Practice code in Java, C++, Go, or C# is sent to a code-running service (Judge0) to compile and run, and the output comes back to you; we don't keep it. Drafts and projects are saved in your browser.
6. Feedback and messages
When you send feedback, we keep your message and the page you sent it from, plus your email address or phone number only if you choose to give them, so we can reply.
7. How we use it
Only to run and improve the site:
- Save your progress and show it to you on every device.
- Answer your questions with Tuto, and keep its free limit fair.
- Understand which lessons people use, where they get stuck, and which devices to support.
- Reply to your feedback, and keep the site secure and free of abuse.
9. What stays in your browser
Your theme, code drafts and projects, Tuto's recent chats, and, until you sign in, your progress are kept in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
10. Your choices
You can reset all your progress at any time from My progress. To get a copy of your data, or to delete your account and everything linked to it, email completefrontend@gmail.com, or use the Contact page, and we'll do it within 30 days. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser; the site still works, but visits can't be told apart.
11. How long we keep it
Account data and progress are kept until you delete them or ask us to. Visit statistics and feedback are kept as long as they help us improve the site. Deleting your account removes your account, progress, and the visit records linked to it.
12. Children
Anyone can read the lessons. You need to be at least 13, or the minimum age to use Google accounts where you live, to sign in.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and its date.
